Inspiration
I named my studio Forest Creations because I am always inspired by the smallest of details on my daily walk through the forest behind our house that leads to the sandy shores of Lake Huron.
Vision
Art is a way of interacting closely with the world around you. And artists see things a bit differently. We notice the details. We ask questions. We look for solutions and we create something from nothing.
Passion
I love the adventure of learning and exploring how each way of creating eventually overlaps in interesting and unexpected ways. Sculptures can become lights. Painting on clay isn’t very much different than painting on canvas. Weaving has many uses, and you can collage just about anything. Art should be fun and it should make you smile.
